Bewdley Baptist Art Group

Our idea is to introduce people to the fellowship of the church in an informal and friendly way by enjoying
a leisure pursuit together.

We meet on Thursdays in the School Room at Bewdley Baptist Church, 7.30pm for about two hours; everyone is welcome.

Bewdley Festival

An annual week (and more !) of Great Entertainment - including Exhibitions, Concerts, Talks, Street Entertainers, Parades, ...

Past celebrities/performers include: Rick Wakeman, Steeleye Span, Antara Quartet, Marion Montgomery, John Mortimer,

Bewdley String Ensemble
A Training Orchestra for String Players _ under the Direction of Rachel Greenwood
Now into its tenth year, the ensemble is formed principally from students drawn from local schools and colleges ..
From rehearsals in Wribbenhall, former players have gone on to study at Trinity College & at York University

Butterfly Puppet Theatre
Inspirational puppetry for children - of all ages

Cottagemusic
The music recording and production section of Tanwood Enterprises

Hill Organ Promotion Society
Dedicated to promoting the Organ, built by William Hill, in Kidderminster Town Hall
This Voluntary Organisation, established in 1993, is chaired by Tim Morris - the Kidderminster Town Hall Organist ..
This instrument is a fine example of William Hill's work, built in 1855, being one of the earliest examples of a 'municipal instrument .. located in a Civic Building'. The full specification of the instrument is available upon request.

Kidderminster Male Choir
An out-going choir formed with the philosophy of fellowship and friendship
Offering opportunities for 1st & 2nd Tenor and 1st & 2nd Bass voices, the choir is sponsored by ADAM CARPETS (LTD) and by Mr. David Bishop.
They meeting to rehearse on Tuesday evenings (7:30 at St. Mary's Church) and Thursday evenings (7:30 at Milton Hall Baptist Church).

Nonentities   

An amateur theatre company that produces a wide range of plays at the Rose theatre
The society offers a wide range of acting and non-acting opportunities during each year of 10 to 12 productions.
There is a thriving club atmosphere each Thursday evening in the bar at the Rose.

Rose Theatre 

The Rose is a modern fully equipped theatre, with a 181 seat main auditorium, a studio that seats up to 60, a foyer with coffee bar, and fully licensed bar
The Theatre is administered as a charitable trust by the Nonentities, an amateur society, presenting both amateur and professional plays and entertainment's throughout the year.

Stourport-on-Severn Brass Band
A competitive Brass Band, locally based, proud of its friendly spirit.
The band, originally developed out of the Stourport High School Band and set up as Stourport Youth Band under the leadership of George Jackson in 1969, now flourishes under the baton of Musical Director, David Maplestone.
